Steve,

I misread the text of the email that came with the license. It is copied below.

“Let me close with a piece of good news. We’re currently working on the next major version of NoteMap. You’ll be eligible for a no-charge upgrade to this new version, NoteMap 2, as soon as it’s released. NoteMap 2 will probably be released in late November. As soon as it’s finished, we’ll send you information on downloading and installing the upgrade. We’ll also send you details on NoteMap 2’s many new features.”

I obviously read the first part and then mentally substituted 3 for 2 in the second part.
