Re KWS and UR: I think the approach of KWS, the way it divides up subjects, topics, notes, etc. is awkward, and makes it harder to see the intrinsic structure of your data base—another way of saying it is that it is easier for you to develop the kind of structure that would be most helpful for you with UR. Also, UR’s ability to develop templates is very good. UR handles metadata better than UR.

Some of the other folk on this list have good experience with UR. Stephen Diamond was, I think, one of the firstto really see the potential of UR.
