Is BrainStorm stable?

I just fetched BrainStorm, started to get entusiastic about it, but then it crashed, and I had to kill it. Has anybody else experienced stability problems with BS under XP?

I have been using Brainstorm for almost two years, and I have never had it crash, at least not that I recall. I believe it to be very stable.
The developers are very accessible. If you continue to have problems, contact them because they will want to know about it and they will want to correct whatever the problem is.

I have been using it since January on both a WINXPPro box and a WIN2000 box and I have never had a crash.
