Something to read DOS PC-Outline files?

I've been using the DOS version of PC-Outline for over twenty years. The Windows version of PC-O sold by Brown Bag's British successor was not able to read any of the hundreds of PC-O DOS files I'd created for my writing, so I've been forced to continue using the DOS version. It looks like this will no longer be possible under the newer versions of Windows, so, besides the file-size limitations (50k file size) I have to currently contend with, it looks like I'll be forced to transcribe all my old files by hand.
Trouble is, I don't know if there's anything I can get that will have all the old features plus larger file size and ability to run under crappy Windows (which I have to do, for various reasons, even 'though I'd rather be able to use Linux). Any body able to HELP!?
Thanks, if you can.

There is no windows program that has the outlining power of DOS PC Outline. At least, no one in this forum seems to know of one. The Windows program "Inspiration" does a pretty good job of translating GrandView outlines into Inspiration outlines, so I expect it to do the same for PCO. Inspiration, however, is clumsier to use than PCO. Here's how to do the conversion:

To import a GV file into Inspiration 7.5:

In GV,

Expand the entire outline ["expand everything"].
Change the outline labeling to "Indentation w/no Labels."
Mark (highlight) the entire outline
Export the file using the "Paragraph" export option.
Add the " .txt" extension to the exported file name.

In Inspiration,

Open the exported file.
The Inspiration outline should have virtually the same structure as the GV outline, with perhaps only a little touch-up necessary.

(Multiple paragraphs in one PCO outline item will become separate items in I.)
