Since Above & Beyond has been raised can I mention that Above & Beyond has a clone called TimeTo.
http://www.davidberman.com/software/timeto.php
This is based on the Above & Beyond ToDo engine (with permission of Greg Thorne at A&B) but has been tidied up and is being actively developed.
The developer is very supportive and has responded rapidly to all my emails and added a couple of feature that I had suggested to A&b and didn't get as well as adding a specific feature tothe beta that was released yesterday.
Certainly worth having a look at.

Graham thanks for the reference.
I must say that the screenshot on the TimeTo page depicts one of the most unattractive --to me- workscreens I've ever seen; everything seems to be thrown in as an endless list of things to do.
I am actually quite surprised given that the developer has got a graphic designer background.
By contrast, I found Achieve visually pleasant, giving me straight away the impression that it actually does help one organise their tasks.
I know this is as superficial an approach as one could be, but it's still my first impression.
