Those little ads at the top of the Outliners.com pages can trigger sudden onset CRIMP. I've just downloaded Achieve, a PIM that utilizes a grid and tabs. I'm intrigued by it though I doubt I will purchase it. The URL is http://www.effexis.com/achieve/download.htm .

I've never used the function, but the standard for autoscheduling is supposed to be Above & Beyond. MasterList Professional has some rudimentary function of that sort. I'm wondering how good Achieve is at it. If it does it well, at $70 it's a pretty good buy, as Above and Beyond is twice as much for mainly that function.

I'm going to have a good look at Achieve Planner. Its combination of task management fnctionality with reasonably detailed project management is alluring. Are there other worthwhile programs out there that combine the two i.e. to do and project tracking?

TIA
