Yes, it’s a great experience; at this point however, I suggest that you check potential limitations—theoretical and practical- in UR database sizes and what size your own database has reached. Such files tend to get easy bloated when embeding other files, especially DOCs and images.
That is actually the reason I’m opting for IDEA! as my “ground level” knowledge base; most of my material consists of large PDFs and even some audiobooks (MP3) that are completely impractical for embeding.
Notwithstanding, one of the many good things I can say about UltraRecall, is the significant improvement in its export features which make a great difference in a collaborative profession. For example, exporting a contact template record creates a .VCF file that can be directly read by Outlook and other programs.
