[Graham Smith: I keep on looking at IDEA!, mainly because you often mention it! It certainly looks interesting, how do you get data into Idea!]
Graham
If I may answer your question of Alex, there are many ways of entering data into Idea, including direct entry and drag & drop from Windows Explorer (but no Zooter type functionality).
If you haven’t read it, its worth scanning the detailed readme at Sycon’s website (called IntroductionIdea!.pdf) which has a lot of detail.
The next version of Idea! will have a significantly enhanced import function for Outlook email (the best I’ve seen). As Alex said they are working on the fundamentals of the program, including an indexing system. Their plans seem to be quite ambitious and they continue to be very responsive to user feedback.
The Pro version, which a few people here have, is very much superior to the free version (but at a superior price!).
