Yes, you’re right about the elegance of DO. InfoSelect’s speed is the best, but mixed with its GUI, it’s visually jarring. I guess to be able to have the same abount of info layed out so smoothly is what really sold me. Plus, I’m excited because I’ve been looking to “whittle down” the number of apps I have to use just to get something done…and still be able to create what one *might* call an outline. So far I’ve knocked off a sticky notes program, a password protecion program, a paper yearly planner, and a tree-style RTF/HTML diary program. Not to mention the desire for a mind mapping program & bookmarking program. I haven’t used IS in a while, but I love the mail, too. I’ve also tried MDE InfoHandler, so I see where our info mgmt. needs differ. Sorry ;) Not much to bring to the ‘Outliners’ table today but I am happy happy happy over here in the slow lane…
