Hi,
I noticed this discussion forum about Livepad.
Let me introduce myself I am an account representative for the Livepad product at Seeplain (http://www.seeplain.com)
Thank you for looking into Livepad. As you mention Livepad is a much cheaper version of similar products.
Firstly Livepad does contain a Screen Capture tool (it is called SNAP) and you access it by the Camera icon on the toolbar.
We believe there is ONE important difference that sets Livepad apart from other products. The information you store using Livepad is Completely Portable, because Livepad does NOT rely on a huge database to store information. It uses ordinary Files.
This way you can move any livepad file from PC to PC. This also makes the Livepad application small(about 5M) as compared to similar applications that have a large Database (about 70M+).
We have also just released a Smaller Version called “Qwikpad” which can be used to capture snippets of Ad Hoc Information Very Quickly, it has a Hide/Show feature which means it does not clutter your desktop.
Please let us know if you have any more questions or any feedback regarding our product I would be most happy to answer any queries.
Thanks,
Riz
