>Stephen, am curious to know why you wouldn’t use Ultra Recall as your general database, even if Boolean operators were added? - Daly
Increasingly I’ve come to think that true multi-page functionality is a critical component in a pim, at least for me where it is primarily a writing tool. Ultra Recall doesn’t have this. The outline-based database applications that do can be counted on one hand: WhizFolders Organizer, InfoRecallXP, and ndxCards are the only ones I come up with, although I’m probably leaving out some other card-based programs that don’t give a free trial.InfoRecall may be the most feature-laden of these at present, but Steve Cohen has reported the existence of crashing bugs under heavy use. nix Cards is the most innovative of this group. The card format, moreover, is a good way to economize on screen space with multiple windows. And the developer will probably include ways of structuring the positioning of the cards in future releases.
