If I’ve interpreted Kinook’s claims correctly, the UR search of keywords is closer to an indexed search than a full-text search. For instance, Zoot has a full-text search, which means that when you run a search it looks in each document for the required text string. Whereas, with an indexed search, the program logs the words and locations as you enter text, this makes for a much faster search (although, since Zoot is plain text, it is pretty fast). AskSam Professional is an indexed search. Most of the tree-based, free form databases we talk about use text searches, which are generally slower. At least, this is my understanding.
