Something interesting to me is how many PIMs try to emulate the look of a paper planner. They even provide a graphic that’s supposed to look like a spiral binding. Do you believe there is a value to this camouflage? It has always seemed sort of silly to me, and it makes me wonder if the developers have really given much thought to how to really use the technology to enhance planning, or are they merely trying to duplicate paper’s functions on the screen.
I do remember one time seeing a paper notebook that was made to look a little like a Pocket PC. That may be even more weird.
