Hi Stephen.
>>The days of paper are numbered.
That is a bold statement.
At least for me, and a number of people I know, it¥s different. After using digital PDAs for 12 or 13 years, I just dumped my HP iPAQ 2200 and use a combination of paper planner (Moleskine Pocket Diary) and index cards for my projects and todos and for notetaking when on the road; on my Windows PC I run ITSD from Altstone as calendar and todo list (I have to sync ITSD and my paper planner manually, but this extra work keeps me more focussed on what is really important - on the iPAQ and in Outlook old todos just got carried along).
I have long hated Outlook 2003 as it uses up so much resources on my PC, as it¥s so slow and often gets in my way. It had just kept it because all other calenders I tried to synch my PDA with were not really an improvement.
Notetaking by handwriting recognition on the PDA was a pain, too. And carrying an extra keyboard was of no use for me because I seldom have a stable surface when writing on a bus or train. After switching to index cards and small notebooks I got much more writing done.
Bye, Franz
