If I understand it, a company has created a universal emulator that will run any software on any platform. This is what's allowing Apple to migrate the Macintosh to Intel chips.Someone else more technically knowledgeable should look at this:

Stephen, the article you referred to is interesting, but does not indicate that this new software is what will allow Apple to migrate the Mac to Intel chips. Do you have another source for that particular piece of information. Interestingly, Apple's Steve Jobs is expected to make reference to the chip change in an address today.
