Hi, there. Sorry it took me a couple of weeks to reply - I lost track of my original post. HeadCase has been on public release for about 2 years now, starting with a public beta. I have tried all along to involve Mind Mappers in the project and try to find out what they want - harder than you might imagine. I have a group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/headcaseinfo for people to keep track of what I’m doing and post their requests and desires. The mission statement of HeadCase was to produce a Mind Mapping application that actually creates Mind Maps that look hand-drawn, and eventually to be able to reproduce every Mind Map in Buzan’s books. I’m confident that the concept allows for that, but there’s another year or two’s work required to fit everything in that I’d like to do. In the meantime I’ve taken some marketing advice and I’ve built in a text outliner to complement the more extravagant effects of the Mind Map engine.
