The developer denies that InSight is targeted toward programmers. He was even a bit astonished when I suggested the same.

There are certain functionalities a programmer using such an application probably must have. He must be able to take portions of code from different sets and easily put them together. At least that’s what I imagine a programmer doing, after he has amassed a large repository of code. And that happens to be just the functionality that most pims are missing.
