I have found Grandview very stable under XP. The 80x50 window is adequate for working, and the size 14 Lucida Console font is quite elegant. Going to full screen (Alt-Enter), as I mentioned, means having to cope with a pretty dreadful DOS font on my Thinkpad. I have briefly experimented with some special add-in DOS fonts, but on the whole find working in a window gives best results. Sometimes I use a little program to provide a black background around the window.
I have bought Brainstorm and mean to start using it seriously once my current project is done. I do wish that the aerial view was not read-only, however - and can’t understand why this is so.
