Actually, I did that within linux. You just type (at a temrinal)
cal 6 2005
to get a tidy little calendar for the month of June, 2005. Cut and paste into a Freemind text leaf. Then create days alongside or beneath it for actual appointments.
I appreciate seeing my example listed here. As most of us have now discovered, there are plenty of ways to skin the cat of personal information management. But most of us really are visual learners. The mind map is effective for those people.
I think I’ve decided that the right answer is simplicity. A program not only has to look good, it has to have a core set of commands that are really simple to learn and use.
