Thanks for the suggestions for Project Management software; I am currently testing Plan for Windows (by Twiddlebit), Project Kick-start and A-Plan from German company Braintool which has a very impressive client list.
As for time management itself—perhaps scheduled action management is a more appropriate term- I have ended up with Outlook as the platform, even though I don’t use the actual program; I use Datelens to view/edit appointments. I’m also testing the Outlook Calendar Sync add-on to keep my calendars synchronised.
I had more or less pledged not to use Outlook but its popularity has led to a significant number of unique add-ons being developed for it. This includes, among others, the Franklin-Covey planner which now supports task outlining. BTW, anyone wanting to try this out be warned; it’s a 100 Mb download.
