I’ve suggested to David Tebutt that he and Marck add a facility for changing the typeface in any single item to strikeout. I think this would make Brainstorm a lot more useable as a to-do list/project manager. Yes, you can get the same effect by changing the color of the type (gray probably would work best) or the background color, but it isn’t as visually identifiable as a “complete” task or step as strikeout would be. What do you think of that, Alexander? David didn’t seem to enthusiastic about that change. I also think they need to add a quick button for doing that or changing the color, maybe one that is customizable, so you just select the item, click the button and it changes to whatever you’ve set as your “completed item” appearance.
