MasterList US only

MasterList is a 22 Mb download, but that’s not my main inhibition for testing it; rather, I read this warning at the download page:

http://www.themasterlist.com/download.htm “If you are an international user, or if your computer is NOT set to U.S. Regional Date Settings, do NOT download The Masterlist. See FAQ #6.”

which, in turn warns:

http://www.themasterlist.com/download_faqs.htm#6 “The MasterList works only when the computer is set to the US Date setting of mm/dd/yy and will not work on computers set to other date settings. This means that unless you are willing to set your computer’s Regional Date Settings to U.S. English, The MasterList simply will not work.”

I’m sort of used to this by now. It’s actually a good opportunity to publicly thank Sycon for patching up their Idea! Server so that it would work with my Greek regional settings.

Some truly live in the global village, others don’t.
