Not surprisingly, I have tried Scolars Aid a couple of times.
Most recently as the Lite version to recommend to my students. However, it had some bugs in it that made it unusable and the author, who was aware of these bugs, said he wasn’t going to fix them in the free version.
The other problem with the free version was that it had no export options, so any student who had gathered a bibliography while at college was stuck.
That apart, I have always thought it was a very attractive program, with some nice ideas for gathering information. However, it doesn’t really integrate with WProcessors the way the alternatives do, and the last time I tried it, I had some issues that left me a bit a disappointed - I can’t remember what they were now.
How are you getting on with Nota Bene?
