I use OneNote the same way. It works well as a temporary repository of related information that I gather for short-term use. But I think it would quickly become overwhelming to try to store hundreds or thousands of pages of information in OneNote. In fact, because of this, I don’t even use it at the office, but at home for personal and freelance projects.
For instance, I am working on some ads for a freelance client. I clipped the specs for the ads from the publications we are going to run them with, along with material due dates. I clipped required copy from e-mails submitted by the client. This provides quick and easy access to this information as I’m working in PhotoShop and PageMaker to build the ads. Of course, I could use Ultra Recall for the same information, but I find that in OneNote it is easier… the space for storing this information is larger, and I can put it all on one page.
