Steve Cohen > Oh My! And to think that for years I did virtually all my composing and printing in GrandView. And even received awards for my innovative approaches. What might I have accomplished had I not used GrandView?
The argument, I believe, is that writing a cohesive, smooth-flowing essay or report can be hindered slightly by an outliner, at least in the final stages of composition, which is something I’ve found to be true. But I think we all agree that the process of structuring, processing and developing the writing, as well as the research for the project are all made easier with an outliner. However, if you are saying that you were able to create finished reports, theses, essays… whatever… in GrandView without the need to export to a word processor for polishing, then I take my hat off to you. That’s not the way it worked for me. With GrandView, I was able to get farther along on the process than with any subsequent application I’ve tried.
