The three major programs show a progression by their birthdates with respect to such slick, ergonomic features. MindManager———-}Mindgenius———}Visual Mind.

They show the reverse progression with respect to the richness of their feature set.

This would seem to be as expected, although I haven’t previously seen the principle so clearly in evidence. A case can be made that MindGenius represents the optimal tradeoff for most purposes (but not for mine).
