May only be of value to UK members but the May 2005 edition of PCPro has Mind genius 1.1 (full version) on the CD and DVD. It isn’t advertised on the CD or cover, so until you buy the magazine you don’t realise it is available.

I have just installed it and it has the ability to change the focus of the map using the detailed outline view that sits in a docked window. This was the feature I found useful enough for me to switch from Mind Manager to Mind Genius.

In fact all the esentials of a very good Mind mapping program seem to be there for free.
