Hello,
My name is Roman and I’m the guy behind HyperClip. Many thanks to Alexander, who forwarded me the link to this discussion.
Of course, we don’t think that HyperClip is a completely mature product. Actually, since we’ve started this project we collected thousands of ideas how to improve it. And we really have “something major in the works”. As I said to Alexander once, we are working on version 2.0, which is not just a next version. In some ways it’s a completely new product. First of all, HyperClip 2.0 is a .NET project. We believe that switching to .NET we’ll bring us more possibilities in a long run. Other highlights include plugin-enabled architecture, scripting capabilities, unlimited documents size, more ways of navigation and improved UI.
It’s quite a big project for a small company like ours. Especially considering the fact that major part of our income comes from consulting activities. And it’s going to take some time before we feel it is ready to be presented to community. I’m not ready to setup any dates, but I hope that we’ll be able to start early-access program in a couple of months.
As always, we’ll be happy to hear you comments and suggestions.
Be well,
Roman Chernyshev
