Personal Brain calls it “to spider”; it’s an automapping feature for websites. You just provide the home URL and PB creates a plex replicating the website’s structure.
PB, Mybase, Freemind and, I guess, others can do something similar for local folder structures, replicating them and creating shortcuts to available files. It’s a feature I’ve found very useful and time-saving in the past.
Does anyone know of other outliners / mindmappers or whatever that can do it for websites? PB is no use to me because I can’t export its plexes to regular outliners (unless I delve deep into XML which I prefer not to, at the moment).
