What the heck is ECCO? Pointers would be nice.

Try doing a bit of reading first, and you’ll find out all you wanted to know about ECCO.

As for moving of Mac platform, how about the news from SUN about the Star Office suite going free and open source? It plays everywhere and seems like a kick-but suite. Never used it. Any reactions?

Well, great, it’s a free (as in free beer) office suite, if apparently rather a clunky one. But no, it’s not going open source. Close, but no cigar.

And as for deserting our Macs, I think some of us stay with the Mac platform for reasons other than the range of available outline software. Like the
interface, for example.
