Has anyone heard of this mind mapper, which is said to have improved considerably in its present version, VisiMap 4?
I have to wait for the developer to send a download url by email--which is really taking inordinately long. The reviews say VisiMap is the best mind mapper for heavily textual matter. Its downside is said to be output less attractive than competitors'.
These products, by the way, are really expensive, particularly Mind Manager Pro, which looks like the kind of product Microsoft would make, if it were in the mind mapping business.

I'd say "less attractive" is an understatement to say the least!
I personally find FreeMind the best for text, especially as it works so weel with Brainstorm which is also good for textual matter. But, as you said, mind mapping is one area were subjective opinions play a major role.
