I must also emphasise that I am not defending Inspiration either, just interested - particulalry if you had something better to suggest.

However, I don’t really see Inspiration as a tool for drawing diagrams, but rather a tool to graphically help a thinking process. The fact that it can also shortcut the productiuon of a presentation quality diagram is a bonus.

If I was actually setting out to produce a diagram then I would use SmartDraw or Canvas.
