That certainly makes a difference. I orignially got Inspiration for the diagramming. The outlining was just a bonus, and when I discovered that I found it awkward to use, I didn’t really work to hard to master it… maybe I should have been more persistent.

One other reason to choose NoteMap over Inspiration is the hope that as a dedicated outliner, NoteMap will continue to evolve and improve. Perhaps that is a pipe dream, but since NoteMap is really the only truly dedicated one-pane outliner for Windows, I guess I want to support CaseSoft and hope for the best.
