Yes, that one was an OLE/COM container of the sort I was describing.

OLE/COM containers aren’t exactly easy to write, so it isn’t surprising that InfoRapid had “stability” problems. Too bad it seems to have gone dormant. If someone would create a stable outliner with these features, it would be a great way to manage information in a variety of formats.
