AcuteNotes is built around one single useful idea, that of combined editing of notes, but its lack of basic features and further development have defeated its purpose. It’s a pity, because AcuteNotes’ XML file infrastructure presents a good repository for textual information.
Anyway, Brainstorm seems able to handle combined editing just as well; then, simply pressing DEL joins the notes in a single entry. In addition, one can easily clone (“namesake”) the original notes, detach them from the source (namesake OFF) and play around with them at their hearts delight without losing the original version.
