This is a program that intrigued me several years ago, but it seems to have died on the vine, at least in terms of further development. Still, it allows you to combine and edit many notes into one screen in the order in which you select them.]
The recent talk on the handicaps of two-pane outliners for writing reminded me of the above older post; I’ve downloaded AcuteNotes from Download.com to give it a try, though development indeed seems to have ceased in 2002. So much so, in fact, that the program’s home site re-directs you to a completely different product, Acute Applets.
Assuming I like it, I probably won’t even be able to buy a license to include it in my CRIMP list…
