In an effort to help newcomers understand the variety of project-types that could be helped along by use of outliner apps like MORE, INSPIRATION and others, please reply to this post, adding to or refining the list of "PROJECT CATEGORIES". It would be kind of cool if anyone might then take this list offline and format it using an outliner app, then post results, showing parent categories and subcategories. Possibly, then, some users here would then be willing to send requestees "sample docs" that demonstrate a particular usage or product feature.

This is sort of like asking "name all the places you can drive to using a car". Pretty well anywhere! All my new projects begin with a MORE outline, be it a scientific manuscript, grant proposal, lecture, experiment design, software project, trip to the supermarket, vacation excursion, you name it.
MORE fills the niche between a "flat" word processor and an overly structured database. I wish it hadn't been abandoned, and I upgrade each new version of the MacOS with great trepidation fearing that MORE will finally break (amazing that it runs almost bug free for 8 years since 3.1 without an upgrade). My hope would be that some vendor would take it on and simply maintain its compatibility with future OS releases; MORE really doesn't need any more bells and whistles (I would like to see a hot link to other docs that would launch the doc/app when clicking on the filename in an outline though, like Word 98 has).
I'm sure many others feel this way too about a truly excellent and ubiquitous application. Maybe we could talk Symantec into maintenance releases?
