Yes, I just organized my applications on my desktop, and I found that in my categorization scheme, the most appropriate place for NoteTab Lite(a program you recommended), based on my usage of it, was as a clip manager.
Using categories somewhat expanded in this manner, here’s my CRIMP status (after a little more than a year on the Windows platform):
Organizers: 12
Clip Managers: 11
Outliners: 9
Actually, pure outliners are my favorite category. There just aren’t as many of those around.

Considering that (a) a number of information managers have got some kind of “autopaste” function to get data from the clipboard and that (b) many clipboard enhancers have got “rules” to automatically move clips to specific folders, it appears that the line between the two kinds of applications is becoming rather thin.-Alex
