I’ve been using MORE since the beginning and it has kept up with changing systems and hardware—most recently 8.5 on a Performa 6360 printing on an Apple SW2500. Now, having just taken a “great leap forward” in hardware and software, I’m afraid I’ve met a brick wall: OS 8.6 running on a blue and white trying unsuccessfully to print on a Epson Stylus Color 1520 connected via a USB/parallel “smart” adapter.
MORE 3.1.1 crashes and printing alternates between perfectly formed text and tiny, miniature letters on the same page.
Does anyone have a clue about the secret of using “Old Faithful” on a new machine with a new system and a new printer? I’d hate to leap forward only to slide haplessly back. David Dunn
