Steve, while Info Select does have many loyal users, because it is, as you say, quirkly and because some of its features do not work all that well, it’s the kind of program you definitely need a demo trial for. Unfortunately, Micro Logic doesn’t see the wisdom of offering a free trial period. I think that current development in the info management field, as seen with Ultra Recall, Knowledge Workshop, ADM3, MyInfo 3, MDE InfoHandler means that Info Select’s days are limited. I think that Stephen Diamond’s concern about developers adding features willy nilly with no clear purpose in mind can apply well to Info Select. And then, as you note, there are the company’s policies.
