In demo/viewer mode, SmartOutline does not seem to offer anything more, a quite a bit less than the most basic of tree outliners… why would they expect someone to pay $90 (for the standard version, substantially more the the business version with the cool features) when we can’t judge for ourselves? If nothing else, this demonstrates a major lack of knowledge about the marketplace, and, as you point out, Alex, indicates that they are not that confident about their product. Maybe someone out there in outliner.com land has some experience with the full version and can share it with us.
