I just stumbled upon this outliner/PIM that I have not heard of before. URL is

https://secure.smartoutline.com/Pages/Topics/Overview/SmartOutlineFact.asp

Seems to have lots of features. Anyone familiar with this application?

So I downloaded the demo of SmartOutline. It seems that the demo version is severely limited in features... actually, seems more like the Viewer they offer. This is not acceptable. If a developer wants me to try out his or her product, then give me access to all the features and for a long enough period that I can really try them. Don't treat me like I'm a criminal who wants to rip you off! I quickly un-installed SmartOutline and will stick with the developers who trust me.

Did anyone try this and have a different result--maybe I'm not smart enough for SmartOutline?

CRIMP alert received loud and clear.

The promotion it looks impressive; the Business edition seems to offer a lot of potential for getting the information out. I don't recall seeing any similar program exporting to Access; it actually makes a lot of sense i.e. for outliners supporting clones and other kinds of many-to-many relationships.

Now for the testing bit.

Daly, it requires Microsoft .NET to install and run. You need the SmartOutliner + .Net installation to run it. (At least I think that this is the problem, I do not want to install .NET on my computer, so I haven't tried it yet).
