does this answer the recursive rules question?—Steve Zeoli

I’m trying to get a broad view of how Zoot represents hierarchical relations by means other than outlining. Recursion is a property of formulas or more loosely of languages that allows the nesting of one expression inside another. I take it as a property fundamental to enabling an entity to think, and I think it is what makes outlines so broadly applicable.
It sounds as though the weakness of Zoot is in providing an overview of the data. But if you understand the structure of your data, it allows you to develop hierarchical structures on the fly to suit your needs. Is that in the right ball park?
