I can't recall anyone recently mentioning the DOS program Lotus Agenda, 'though I note that Daly belongs to the Yahoo Agenda group (named "Pimlist."). In DOS days, I believe Agenda was considered the premier, non-outlining, information manager.
Zoot is supposed to be a similar program. Does Agenda have any features that Zoot doesn't, such as formatted text?

I can't answer your question, but while surfing I came across the following site with a multitude of Lotus Agenda Web Links
http://home.neo.rr.com/pim/alinks.htm
Interestingly enough, it says that Lotus Agenda can very happily be installed on a HP 200LX palmtop PC.
Other than that, Mitch Kapor's (the guy who created Lotus Agenda) Chandler PIM is now at version 0.4
