I've been working on an outliner for GNOME I'm calling "Brainstem", and I think I've gotten enough working that I'm ready to let other people play with it.

I'm not ready to claim that it's usable for day-to-day usage, but you can do a decent amount already. If you're a developer and looking for an outliner to hack on, this one's for you. :-)

Cool name. Too bad a Windows developer didn't think of it. :)

To be embarrassingly honest, one factor I hold against Ultra Recall is its name, which is only better than "InfoRecall" by a hair. "MyInfo" is OK, inasmuch as it takes off from a Windows naming convention, and the boredom that its conventionality would otherwise induce is offset by "Milenix," an Ultra Cool name.
