Stephen, Daly and others involved in beta testing knowledge management software, I suggest you take a look at the Ceryle project blog. Ceryle is Murray Altheim's personal project for a free knowledge organisation tool. It's still in alpha stage but it seems interesting. The Ceryle Project is part of a PhD program re the way people write. This issue has been mentioned repeatedly in the discussion list and I'd be grateful if anyone can suggest to me some useful literature or weblinks on the subject.
While downloading Axon Idea Processor I found a visual writing model. I attach the link to the full Axon samples page, as I find quite a few of the diagrams thought provoking.
