I wonder whether anyone has worked with OmeaPro, a program that describes itself as follows: “Omea Pro is an extremely powerful yet simple to use Integrated Information Environment. It integrates with Microsoft Outlookô, Microsoft Internet Explorerô and Mozilla browsers, and ICQ and Miranda instant messaging clients. It supports many common file types including .doc, .pdf, .html, .txt, and more.
“What sets Omea Pro apart is its innovative information management features. You can process, organize, and quickly search all your digital resources stored on your computer: emails, RSS and ATOM feed posts, newsgroup articles, instant message conversations, favorite web sites, personal contacts, and files.”
I have worked with some of the public beta versions. It seems to me that it attempts to do what programs such as Haystack and Chandler are aiming to do. Here’s the url: http://www.jetbrains.com/omea/
I see that version 1 is now out at a cost of $49.
