Development time and cost are the more important considerations, but larger programs do seem to run more slowly, even on Windows XP and a Pentium 4 processor.

Nobody who needs a calendar should be forced to do without one. They can simply use Treepad instead of MyInfo.

But then, I had advocated separate programs with interoperability, and that seems your conclusion too, when you say the MyInfo plus Plana will be better than the unitary program.
