Apparently MyInfo 3 will not have any “to do” or appointment calendar capabilities. Milenix, like Kingstairs with its Jot+ have taken the position that such abilities are not really part of information management, but belong in a separate program.
They are totally WRONG! For example, back when I spent more time with GV than with my wife, the GAO asked me for a listing of all of the meetings, with dates, that I had with a particular division. Using GV’s category-assignment-calendar capabilities, I was able to create the list in less than a minute and I was also able to access other, relevant material quickly, all within GV.
Calendar appointments, etc. are VITAL INFORMATION that MUST be part of any program that fancies itself to be a PIM.
This note will be sent to both Milenix and Kingstairs. If you agree with me, please also email these vendors about this requirement.
