There is a newish outliner called BrainForest, available from Ap;ortis.com. It adds a few new features to extend the planning advantages of the genre. Above all, it is compatible with the Palm series of portable devices and can sychronise outlines. Currently the desktop version runs on the Apple Macintosh but a Windows version is in beta test.
Lovers of outlining software will be interested in the new features.

Can you summarize the new features? I've looked at their web site, and all I saw were dates and priorities, which I'm pretty sure have been in outliners since In Control. I'd hate to miss something that's new.

I've used both quite a bit. MORE is a better outliner. But BrainForest is adequate on the Mac Desktop, and very good on the Palm.

I can't tell you how great a portable outliner is. And everything that I enter is easily transported to any of my desktop apps (Word, MORE, Frontier, HTML).
